Ria has a wide range of professional experience, from her Stand-up Dame Dolly in touring panto to the 'Sonneteer Widow' at Shakespeare's Globe, London and verse workshops with inmates at Brixton Prison. Most recent her Tanka Poetry recital with guitarist Masanobu Nisigaki for the Japanese Embassy.

Driven by her own ever developing process, as well as regular classes at London's 'Actors Centre', Ria has worked with various practitioners including Theatre de Complicite. Her belief is that through organised play (le Jeu), actors can make work that is fresh and powerful.
